1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, newsletters, and other services operated by Legal Street Technologies Private Limited ("Legal Street®", "we", "our"). By subscribing to Indian Legal Brief (ILB), creating an account, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

Legal Street publishes Indian Legal Brief (ILB), a weekly email journal covering Supreme Court judgments, regulatory changes, and practice insights for Indian lawyers. Our services include:

• The free weekly ILB newsletter delivered by email
• Access to past issues and editorial archives on legalstreet.in
• Any additional paid subscriptions, products, or services we offer from time to time, governed by these Terms together with the specific plan description

ILB is editorial content. Nothing in our publications is legal advice, nor does it create an attorney-client relationship. Use of the information is at your own discretion and risk.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

The standard ILB newsletter is free. If you subscribe to a paid plan or purchase any other paid offering:

• Pricing, billing frequency, and any included features will be displayed at the time of purchase
• Payments are processed by our payment partner in accordance with their terms; we do not store full card details
• Applicable taxes are added at checkout where required
• Cancellations and refunds are handled per our Cancellation & Refunds policy

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information (including a valid email address) when subscribing
• Use the services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Not redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission
• Not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our services or infrastructure
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account or subscription

5. Service Availability

We aim to publish ILB every Monday and to keep the website available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Editorial schedules, features, and pricing may change at our discretion. We are not responsible for delays caused by email providers, internet service providers, or other factors outside our control.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and functionality of our services — including the "Legal Street®" wordmark and balance-icon logo — are owned by Legal Street Technologies Private Limited and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may share individual issues for personal, non-commercial use with attribution; republication or systematic redistribution requires our written permission.

7. Termination

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every newsletter, or by writing to contact@legalstreet.in. We may suspend or terminate access to any of our services, immediately and without prior notice, for breach of these Terms or for any other reason we consider appropriate.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legal Street Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use our services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a paid service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers by email or by a prominent notice on the website at least seven days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.
