In view of the aforesaid discussion, we are of the considered opinion that the High Court, in the impugned judgment, committed an error in refusing to exercise its jurisdiction under Section 482 of the CrPC for quashing the impugned FIR and consequential criminal proceedings and thus warrants interference of this Court.
