What the Court ordered
In view of the above discussion, and having regard to the material placed on record , we are, therefore, of the considered view that the High Court, while enlarging Respondent No. 2 on bail, failed to take into consideration the material facts and circumstances of the case and assigned reasons which are not in consonance with the settled principles governing the grant of bail, especially, in serious offences.
