Issue for Consideration Conviction for offences under section 468 r/w section 120( ), section 271 and section 465 r/w 120( ) and section 420 r/w section 120( ) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (“IPC”) as well as section 13(1)(d) read with section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (“PC Act”). He was sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for a year for offences under ss.271 and 465 r/w section 120( ) and two years rigorous imprisonment for all other IPC offences.
