What the Court ordered
We are of the view that it is the duty of the Central Government to direct all the educational institutions throughout India to teach atleast for one hour i n a week lessons relating to the protection and the improve ment of the natural environment including forests, lakes, rive rs and wildlife in the first ten classes.
