What the Court ordered
We are of the view that we should also direct that interest at the rate of 6 per cent on Rs.19,37,800/- from 27.03.2008 (date of suit) till date of deposit (in Government Treasury) should be directed to be paid over and above the balance amount to the respondents in exercise of our power under Article 142 of the Constitution of India.
