What the Court ordered
We hold that one of the reasons assigned by the State Government for not excluding the appellants’ land from acquisition, 16 Page 17 JUDGMENT namely, the quality of construction was irrelevant and extraneous and the High Court committed serious error by rejecting the appellants’ plea that the respondents had discriminated them in the matter of grant of exemption from acquisition.
