What the Court ordered
In view of the above, the argument of the learned counsel that the word 'person' in Section 154(1) means a E human being or a natural person only and that the explanation by which a cooperative society was included in the said word is indicative of the legislature's intention to give a narrow meaning to the word 'person' is liable to be rejected.
