For the aforesaid reasons we allow this appeal and direct the respondent Union of India to disburse the arrears of pay to the appellants calculating their scale of pay on a par with t!leir counterparts in the Union Territory .of Delhi during the period between 1.3.1982 and 31.3.1987.
