What the Court ordered
We hold that the High Court was justified in reversing H 342 SUPREME COURT REPORTS (1998) SUPP. 2 S.C.R. A the judgment of acquittal passed by the trial Court and convicing the appellant under section 302 as well as section 324 IPC. The sentences awarded by the High Court are quite appropriate and do not find any warrant to interfere with the same.
