We are of the opinion that evidence C of the said doctor would have proved to be an important connecting link and in the absence thereof, the testimony of PWs I and 3 lacks credence, particularly because there is a vital discrepancy between the two witnesses in the matter of the time at which they proceeded to the village Bilary.
