Kashmiri Lal, Madan Lal, Babu Ram, Jagdish Singh Bedi and Prem Pal were tried by the Additional Sessions Judge on charges under sections 120(8), 302, 307 and 324 read with sections 147 and 149 I.P. . on the ground'that they entered into criminal conspiracy on 17.11.1972 to commit the murder to Ramesh Chand and others.
