What the Court ordered

We are of the opinion that the Act with the Schedule annexed became applicable in those States where the legislatures passed B resolutions expressing the 'desirability' for the Parliament to make a law for the imposition of ceiling on urban immovable property, and it lay dormant insofar as the other States were concerned.
