What the Court ordered
In the result the appeal is allowed only to the extent that it is declared that the appellants should have been paid interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the amount of rents collected by the manager on behalf of the Government and the final figure of com pensation should have been determined after taking into account the amount of interest which accrued due to such of the appellants as were entitled to it.
