Assam Elementary Edu.cation Act (30 of 1962), ss. 14(3) (iU), 34(2), 38 and 55(2), and Assam General Clauses Act (2 of 1915), s. 18-Authorlty to appoint and dismiss school teachers-Who has Delegation of authority to dismiss-How to be made. The respondents were Elementary School teachers appointed under the Assam Basic Education Act, 1954. The Act was repealed by the Assam Elementary Education Act, 1962, which came into force on 5th October, 1962.
