Income Tax-Decree for compensation for wrongful termination of service-Arrears of salary, interest and costs, if amount to salary- Power of employer to deduct income-tax from salary-Indian Income Tax Act, 1922 (II of 1922), ss. 18(2), 46(5). In a civil suit the respondent obtained a decree against his employer the appellant company for a sum which included com pensation for wrongful termination of bis service, arrears of salary, interest and costs of the suit, and then applied for execu tion of the decree.
